Many of you will have heard on the news the disaster that has occurred in Beirut. As well as the destruction caused by the explosion itself, and life lost, there will be ongoing hardship as the port has been destroyed. Lebanon imports nearly all of its food and grain was stored in the port area and has been destroyed along with the infrastructure to enable imports.
In this morning’s live guided meditation I led a Loving Kindness practice for the people who have been impacted by the explosion. But Loving Kindness needs action as well as intention. I’ve looked to see what charities are receiving donations and am sharing the link below if you wish to donate. The charity is recommended in an article by The Independent.
